Academics

You must have a passing academic score to graduate. And yes, warrant officers make it to graduation only to get awarded with another year of WOBC because they got recycled for failing academics. Do not wait until the last minute to study. Let me rephrase the previous statement. Some of you are really intelligent and can wait until the last minute, but study prep is the key for the rest of us. Many squads and platoons utilized study groups and games to study. The exams are not easy and usually take two to three hours to complete.

You will have about 60 to 70 quizzes at WOBC. The SOP changes every year. You can get these done before class, which is the best recommendation. Knock them out early, so you don’t have to worry about them during the week. Also, something will always come up, like lousy wi-fi or a random task.

Mid-performance exams are easy. Make sure you complete the practical applications and take notes, but I do not know of any Marines failing. The only thing that could be challenging will be the test on the Operations Order. Study the skeletons, and you should be fine.
