Liberty

Well, this will be problematic for the Marines who do not have a car. Trust me; if you can drive to WOBC, drive to WOBC, you will need to leave the base for R and R or supplies.

Garrisonville Road is out the back gate, there are many eateries to choose from, and most of the good is good. Paddys, Fattys, and Stafford Wings are easy spots to eat decent food. Everyone loves Chick fil a, which is outside the back gate. Do a solid for your team and grab some extra for the Marines who cannot get out if you go eat.

There are also some good stops up the road at Potomac Mills. Take the time to get away and take a break; you will need it at some time.

Q-Town is technically off base, but you can wear Woodlands there as well. The Marine Shop is a must-visit, better uniforms but more expensive. Also, there are several spots to get name tapes, gear for the field, etc.

If you are not from the area, go see D.C. The area is literally historic, like since the birth of the nation and the USMC historic.

Last thing but big thing----- Parking is a premium. If you leave late on a Sunday, you may be parking a mile away.

Potomac Mills

Go at least once, it is close and Uberable.

Q Town

Make sure you pay for parking!!!

Garrisonville Rd
